Religious Diversity?

Ok, in the RK version I'm working with a Non-Aristolean group to get off the ground because Aristoleans basically control everything.

Will TN have more than one religious option than just serving Quetzalcoatl?

Or is it feasible to try and develop 2 or three religions side by side?

There were 3 major gods

Quetzalcoatl, god of civilization and order
Tlaloc, god of Rain
Tezcatlipoca - god of Destiny and war

For coding reasons, if I were to organize it . . .

Quetzalcoatl - High god of civilization

Tlaloc - god of rain and growth. god for the good, the ordered, the religiously devout.
Tonatiuh - god of Sun. god for the people that don't want to choose.
Tezcatlipoca - god of Destiny and war. god for the villians.

All three religious sects would still be a form of worship to Quetzalcoatl, so we won't have the same problem as in RK with Jah/Hashem, whatever Avveroeist refer it.

My guess is that there can be only one. And soon we get to choose the title for a Quetzalcoatl Pope who is actually an admin..

sorry.. but the more time passes the less differences there seen to be between this and The Other Game.

I talked to LJS last night. He said he is doing research on the religions of the aztecs, and should have some more concrete IG structure for us in a week or two

LJ got back with me last night, so here is the update

Quetzalcoatl is to be Jah. There is only Quetzalcoatl, any other will be considered OOC or IRL.

There will Be 3 religions, 2 of them will be developed simultaneously. All Religion is a form of worship to Quetzalcoatl.

The three religions need to cater to three lifestyles

Law, Order, Chaos.

Law - Lawful Armies, Good Counties, Priests of Health and Honor, etc. (Syounger, Riktin(R.I.P.)

Order - Default religion. All men are born with the drive to develop themselves in order. (all new level 0 and apocas, Asteria, Launcelot)

Chaos - Criminals, robbers, revolters, Whitesnowfamily, Anto and CO, URAC

LJS will choose the name of the gods, but suggestions are appreciated and will be weighed to historical accuracy.

Law cannot have blood sacrifice
Order cannot have Human Sacrifice
Chaos must stay PG.

Religion should be developed similarily to the IRL meso-american worship, the rituals, the days of celebration, and most importantly RP.

There will be no level 2 priests at all. Level 3 guideline is strict.

ps. URAC may be the demon but there are other aristotelian churches who are pretty good - do not assume all of them are evil hahaha
